  1. These are the instructions to install the Answering machine for
  2. OS/2 on your computer.

  4. 0: Please consider installing this program on a HPFS drive.
  5.  
  6. 1: Unzip the ANS106.ZIP archive in the directory where you
  7.    wish to install it.
  8.  
  9. 2: Type "INSTALL" to create a desktop object and the necesary
  10.    directories.
  11.  
  12. 3: Run the program by double clicking on the icon on the
  13.    desktop.
  14.  
  15. There is a "ANSWER.INF" file that contains usefull information.
  16. It will be displayed when you run the "INSTALL" program.
  17.  
  18. You can read it at any time by typing "VIEW ANSWER.INF" in the
  19. programs directory in an OS/2 text mode session. Or you can type
  20. F1 in the program at any time to get help.

  22. If you want to take full advantage of the program, open the settings
  23. of the 'Answering Machine' program object, turn to the 'Window' page of the
  24. 'Settings Notebook' and put the 'Minimized button behaviour' to 'Minimize
  25. window to desktop'. When a message comes in you can see the icon flash.
